Enel Green Power presents Trinum at Sole Luna Festival
Saturday, July 7th : Enel Green Power talked about the future of renewable energies, after presenting its first thermal small-scale concentrating solar system. Trinum is ‘a perfect example of how to mix together traditional items, designed also at the beginning of the 19th century, to make a masterpiece that produces electric and thermal energy’. Federico Butera (Politecnico of Milan), Gianfranco Rizzo (Energy Department of the University of Palermo) and Fabio Montagnino (Director of ARCA, University of Palermo) took part to the meeting.
This year, the collaboration between Sole Luna Festival and Enel Green Power, official sponsor of the prizes, leaded to the creation of a special section for the students of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Palermo. The students competed to become directors of a documentary produced by EGP, ‘Barefoot Solar Engineers’, about Bunker Roy, a pioneer in renewable energies.
