Sole Luna – Google Fellowship
Associazione Sole Luna– Un ponte tra le culture and Google Italy were partnering for an exciting fellowship program on hate speech and counterspeech, with the aim to bring together the tech industry and social actors in order to fight hate speech and to promote counterspeech. 
On October 1st 2017, Rose Suman, a young Nepalese girl from England who has won the Google Fellowship at the Association Sole Luna-Un ponte tra le culture, began her research in Rome.
Rose stayed with us until the end of the year and had to propose a counter speech campaign on the web.
She worked on internet, she interviewed personalities in the world of communication, criminologists, video-makers and she watched dozens of movies from our archive.
Through ELGOOGO, the virtual detective, she tells her experience, her thoughts, she studies the reactions of users on the network.
