The city of Treviso boasts an important series of Festivals: all together they form a long season of events and a vast and varied schedule of proposals that has few equals in the national scene. Created through the commitment, the passion and the ideas of associations, citizen groups, experts belonging to various fields, and volunteers, the Treviso festivals have gained the visibility, the credibility and the public’s favour and range over many areas of culture and of knowledge. From literature to sustainable development, from cinema to music, from computers to comics, from statistics to the knowledge of other cultures, from philosophy to theatre and the fine arts: a great “festival of festivals” which represents a true excellence in the Italian overview.

 

THE “TREVISO FESTIVAL” NETWORK

With this in mind, the organizers of different festivals in Treviso have met in recent months driven by the desire to create a network, to exchange experiences and information, but also to build a unified image: as a result they decided to write and sign a protocol which commits all members to collaborative action and information sharing. Already in recent months they have started to organize common activities, with useful opportunities of exchange and mutual knowledge.

The signatories of the “Treviso Festival” protocol strongly believe that this first agreement will generate new activities and contaminations to expand the target audience of each initiative and on the whole to help give liveliness to the image and prestige of our Treviso.
