SECTION FILMING CINEMA
S IS FOR STANLEY, Alex Infascelli
“S is for Stanley” is able to communicate the incredible strength of honesty and friendship among different social and cultural worlds with simplicity, great technique and expertise of means.
He manages to perfectly master the dynamics of the contrast between the two figures: the expanded size of Kubrick and the composure, which finds its specific space at any rate, of D’Alessandro.
SPECIAL MENTION SECTION FILMING CINEMA
ARABIC MOVIE, Eyal Sagui Bezawie, Sara Tsifroni
“Arabic Movie” manages to represent – through the combination of two media, television and film – the peculiar condition of the mixture of cultures certainly different but not so distant.
It brings back memories of a topic which has been lost.
It is also a great tribute to the power of cinema, as a catalyst for emotions that don’t just remain inside every individual but that may have propulsive repercussions.

SOUNDRIVEMOTION PRIZE TO THE BEST SOUNDTRACK
TIDES. A HISTORY OF LIVES AND DREAMS LOST AND FOUND (SOME BROKEN), Alessandro Negrini
A well conceived choice of few sparse original elements: the elegance of a delicate piano, occasionally conversing with an eerie waterphone, the discrete brush of a nylon-string guitar, all tastefully interspersed with touches of nostalgia via quotations of period music and voices from the past layered in mature and serene irony.
The whole flows as smoothly as the alternating tides it was designed to underline, providing an exquisitely cohesive aural complement that effortlessly follows the lyrical itinerary of the visual narration.
An ultimately enjoyable proof of creative coherence and depth.

SCHOOL JURY
BEST FEATURE FILM SECTION MY JOURNEY
#MYESCAPE, Elke Sasse
The impact with the truth is the great strength of the film: we are carried away into the landscapes, the thoughts, the fear, the humiliation and the hopes of the migrants. This evidence makes it possible to travel with them.
The originality founded on the absence of professional actors, that is the absolute reality provided by the scenes, is one of the most poignant and direct aspects of the film, thanks also to the wise editing.
SPECIAL MENTION SECTION MY JOURNEY
A WALLNUT TREE, Ammar Aziz
The film focuses on the roots with the loved people, which can’t be forgotten, moved or misunderstood with the affections and the even deeper ties
Roots can be only in one place and the distance from it is unbearable. They are transmitted to children within the walls, even if they are imaginary walls, of a refugee camp, of a school.
Painfully poetic. Lacerated humanity that does not renounce to its dignity.
