Hassan is a child living on the streets of the Gambia. His brother was accused of witchcraft and burned alive in front of him. Hassan runs away to avoid a similar fate after his stepfather told him that the devil is inside him. The boy carries around a tape recorder with which he tells us about his life and that of other children in this beautiful country.
