Stuck between not being anymore and not being yet, Daniel, Simone, Morena and Desirée live in a “middle earth” dominated by change and uncertainty. They attend the last year at Bonfiglio middle school, in Colonna Rotta street, in the heart of Palermo. Colonna Rotta is a neighborhood of its own kind. Here, everyone knows each other and the kids of the class III B live in cramped and run-down apartments just a stone’s throw away from each other. The neighborhood is a cage, but life is an adventure when you are thirteen years old. Between school and work, first loves and family, the four protagonists face adolescence looking for their way.
