Treviso Cinematografica is a stroll through the heart of Treviso with the purpose of discovering charming glimpses and findind out all the hidden places that made directors fall in love.
Tours – held by a guide – will allow people to visit secret movie locations. Each stop will be a chance to tell stories about the production and the cast, without forgetting to reveal some fun facts that happened during the shooting. The path will cross the setting of several cinematographic works: from the comedy The Birds, the Bees and the Italians (1965) written by Luciano Vincenzoni, to Orders are Orders (1972) by Franco Girardi, with Monica Vitti and Gigi Proietti, and The Consequences of Love (2004) by Oscar Paolo Sorrentino. The itinerary will also lead the participants through buildings and other sites that, from the end of 19th century, hosted screenings and cinema events. A journey into the past, enhanced with vintage movies and antique cartographies, to uncover the cinematographic history of the city: from the firsts theaters to the unforgettable areas like Politeama Garibaldi.
The walking tour takes place on Sunday, September 6th, from 10:00 to 12:30.
