LAMIA BELKAIED GUIGA
teaches History of Cinema and Film Analysis at the ESAC, École supérieure de l’audiovisuel et du cinéma (Université-Carthage, Tunisie) of which she is the director and she curates the Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage (JCC). As a jury member at various Arabic and African film festivals, she is on the board of The Critics Awards for the Arab Films and she is an advisor to Mentor Arabia Foundation.

IAN BRENNAN
is a Grammy Award-winning musician and music producer, who has worked on about 30 albums by international artists from four continents and countries, including Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Ghana, Cambodia, Pakistan and Romania, over the last ten years. His latest project entered Bob Boilen’s NRP “Top 10 Albums of 2019”. Author of several books, he has been giving violence prevention seminars around the world since 1993 for prestigious organizations such as the University of California, Berkley, the University of London and New York’s New School. He organises concerts to raise funds for humanitarian projects and to support art and music in disadvantaged countries.

NADEESHA UYANGODA
born in Colombo (Sri Lanka) and raised in Brianza (Italy), is a freelance author who deals with migration issues, especially of the so-called second generations. She writes, among others, for Al Jazeera English, Rivista Studio, The Telegraph, Open Democracy, Vice. Her first book, L’unica persona nera nella stanza (2021), is published by 66thand2nd.

PIERFRANCESCO LI DONNI
graduated in Contemporary History, studied editing at the Cineteca di Bologna. In 2012 he made his directorial debut with the documentary film “Il Secondo Tempo”. “Loro di Napoli”, his second documentary, was awarded at the Festival dei Popoli as Best Italian Film, at Fipa in Biarritz with the Télérama Award for Best International Film and in Mexico City with the Docs MX Award. In 2016, he made the TV documentary “Prima cosa buongiorno”. In 2017, he won the first edition of the Premio Zavattini with the short film “Massimino”, made with archive materials. In 2020, “La nostra strada” is the best Italian film at the XVI edition of Biografilm, best film at the XV edition of Sole Luna Festival and in competition at the XXXIII edition of Idfa. He teaches at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Sicily.

MARILENA DELLI UMUHOZA
Master Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature for International Communication, studied cinema at UCLA in Los Angeles. She was born to a Rwandan mother and to an Italian father and she wrote two books about racism in Italy Razzismo all’Italiana. Cronache di una spia mezzosangue, with a preface by Cecile Kyenge (Aracne 2016) and Negretta. Baci razzisti (Red Star Press 2020). She is also a photographer and a filmmaker and she has worked with her husband Ian Brennan, a musician and producer, on around 30 albums by artists from all over the world, to give voice above all to the less represented musical production of countries such as Malawi, South Sudan, Rwanda, Pakistan and Cambodia.
