For 70 years, Karen, one of the most important ethnic groups in Burma, fighting for freedom, first against the Japanese, and even today against the military in power. The longest armed resistance in modern history, in which Karen women have always fought on the front lines. Zoya Phan and one of them lives in exile politics in England and has become the icon of the resistance of an entire people.
