Portovesme, Sardinia. Images of a distant summer. Waves are lazily crashing on the rocks. A group of kids is cycling through an abandoned industrial park, headed towards the beach. This is a movie composed of archives material and old celluloid film footage, where past and present merge and mingle. In this land of unkept promises, these kids are the epitome of a generation that saw the birth and death of the industrial era.
